If you are a lover of antiques and traditions, this event is for you: Antique Exhibition at Villa Fiorentino, an exhibition to be held in this prestigious villa in Sorrento, from 24 April to 1 May 2012.

The Processions in Sorrento, preceding Easter time, are one of the most important and fascinating event of the year for the town of Sorrento.

These Sorrento tradition moments are deeply felt by the inhabitants, which recreate a unique atmosphere with a strong impact,both for the deep religious processions, that for the folklore of which are characterized.

Will be “Confraternite, crociferi e i riti della passione” (Brotherhoods, crucifers and rites of passion) the title of iconographic exhibition will be staged within the prestigious Villa Fiorentino in Sorrento, from Sunday, March 18 to Sunday, April 8.

The cultural association “Compagnia di prosa e musica Teatro Mio”, born in 1998, has announced the program for the 2011-2012 performances, which will take place from October to April. The events will be held in Vico Equense at the “Teatro Mio” theater, which takes its name from the same association and is the ideal place to watch quality performances and shows.

Coming once a year, this year on April 23rd, the walk of the 23 unique rural homes is a gathering for hiking, trekking and pure air lovers from all over.

This will surely be a Spring vacation that will leave you breathless. Sorrento, for 2011, has organized exceptional events for those with an eye for art and for those who can’t resist the idea of gaining knowledge and experience from new cultures and traditions!
