“Exciting, magnificent and full of euphoria,” That’s how the contemporary dance group “Staibdance” is defined, which takes its name from the artistic director and choreographer George Staib, who directs this fantastic group of contemporary dance that will perform in Sorrento, at the Ibsen theatre, Friday July 8th, starting at 21:00 pm.
The event is interesting not only for dance lovers, but also for all those who want to approach this world now, who will find themselves faced with a very immersive and intense act.
The company Staibdance has its base in the city of Atlanta, in the United States, and has been together for seven years. Their first performance took place in 2007, collaborating also with the Vega String Quartet, in 2009.
Their show is a collection of fascinating movements, a deep theatricality and a strong aesthetic expressionism. The dancers who will perform the 8th of July in Sorrento are: Emily Cargill, Claire, Jessica Moore, Jade Poole, Allegra Ortiz, Bridget Roosa, Daphanie Scandrick and Kathleen Wessel.
