On May 28th and 29th 2011, occurring in several different parks and natural oasises of Italy, the Walk Of Life is an initiative organised by the Telethon to promote support for research on genetic diseases.
The places where this initiative will kick off are numerous throughout the Sorrentine peninsula and, among these, there will be the natural park of Punta Campanella.
Punta Campanella is a marine protected area managed by different municipalities of the area, who were all involved in the implementation of this project. Councillors of Massa Lubrense, Sorrento, Piano di Sorrento, Positano and Sorrento joined the initiative with enthusiasm, making it all happen!
These walks and excursions will be totally different, both by sea and by land and will allow those participating in the initiative to visit and enjoy the breathtaking beauty and fresh air that Punta Campanella is able to offer.
Witness unrevealed charming scenarios, with views over the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno or the island of Capri, all while remaining immersed in the green and unspoiled place of such splendor.
In short, Walk Of Life is a way to have fun, spend a day with friends or with your family, and at the same time support a noble cause, helping these causes, in Italy, is often neglected.
Joining is easy, just reach one of these collection points inside the Park and take part in the “walk for research”.
